Location & FacilitiesPrimary operations based in Terrace, B.C., serving surrounding areas (Kitimat, Hazelton, Smithers). A leased warehouse (1,500–2,000 sq. ft.) will store inventory, with space for sorting, packaging, order processing and dispatch.
SuppliersMain suppliers located in the U.S. (automotive parts manufacturers and distributors). Products include filters, brakes, EV battery components, electronics, and accessories. Partnerships with certified U.S. and Canadian wholesalers to ensure product quality and warranty coverage.
Inventory ManagementUse a basic ERP or inventory software Sortly or Zoho Inventory for real-time tracking, restocking alerts, and SKU management. Maintain minimum stock for high-demand parts (tires, brakes, EV connectors).
Order FulfillmentOrders processed via website or direct contact (email/phone). B2B customers (auto shops) receive priority same-day or next-day delivery within Terrace. Regional orders shipped within 2–4 business days via insured courier.
Logistics & DeliveryLocal deliveries managed by owner or hired driver; regional deliveries handled through Canada Post or Purolator. Shipping insured and trackable. Consider adding a mobile delivery van in year 2 to serve outlying towns.
Quality & Warranty ControlAll parts sourced from authorized suppliers with warranties. Returns or warranty claims handled through suppliers to maintain trust and reliability.
Staffing PlanYear 1: Owner-operated (management, sales, logistics). Year 2: Add part-time warehouse assistant or delivery staff as sales grow and outsource bookkeeping and web management.
Technology & SystemsUse cloud-based tools for inventory, sales tracking, and accounting QuickBooks. Online sales platform integrated with a secure payment gateway Shopify or WooCommerce.
Customer ServiceDedicated email and phone line for service inquiries. Maintain rapid response for quotes, availability checks, and after-sales support to build loyalty with B2B clients.
